We are happy to announce that on Friday, September 25, 2020, our colleague Mihai Nechita has successfully defended his PhD thesis at UCL (London).
The title of the thesis was
Unique continuation problems and stabilised finite element methods
His advisors were Erik Burman and Lauri Oksanen.
May we also add that during his PhD program, our colleague has obtained the following prizes:
- Sir George Jessel studentship, UCL (2018);
- Andrew Rosen prize for applied mathematics, UCL (2018);
- Sir George Jessel studentship, UCL (2020).
