With deep regret we announce that on June 21, 2017, Mathematician and Physicist Dr. Călin Vamoş, senior researcher at the Institute, has passed away.
He worked at our Institute several decades, and became a key member (member of the Scientific Council of the Institute).
He was a remarkable Mathematician and Physicist, a close colleague, a man full of generosity, modesty and integrity.
The Institute has lost a valuable member.
May he rest in peace!
