During October 26-28, as part of the 2022 edition of the Cluj Academic Days,
the Tiberiu Popoviciu Institute of Numerical Analysis (Romanian Academy) will be organizing the online conference

Numerical Analysis, Numerical Modeling, Approximation Theory
(NA-NM-AT 2022)

The focus will be on numerical applications in different areas (Numerical Analysis, Numerical Modeling, Scientific Computing).
A special emphasis will be on different practical aspects (programming languages, parallel computing, GPU computing, etc.).
Some numerical or theoretical aspects from Approximation Theory (studied at the Institute, or by some collaborators) will be also presented.

The participants are expected to send the title of their talk by early September – for the printed version of the program issued by the Romanian Academy, Cluj-Napoca branch, for all its institutes (which for NANMAT will be perhaps not in final form, as we accept talks even after that date).
For the final program, the titles and the abstracts (in LaTeX form, no special format) may be send later, by the mid October.

The previous editions were small scaled (see here). This edition aims to invite scientists from abroad (and also collaborators from Romania).
Depending on its success, a larger conference may be organized next year and announced in advance.
Organisers: Emil Cătinaș and Mihai Nechita.
